Course Overview
This introductory course is designed to equip emerging preachers and teachers with the necessary tools to interpret and proclaim God’s Word excellently.
The process includes three parts.
Input: Participants will listen to a short, pre-recorded talk in which a certain concept, tool, or portion of text will be explored.
Reflection: Going deeper resources are provided to explore further the issues raised in the session. This will usually be a reading followed by some reflective questions.
Practice: Participants will be required to write and deliver at least one sermon to a small group on a Bible book/passage of their choice. The purpose of this exercise is to go through the process of writing and delivering a sermon, as well as receive structured feedback.
